NCCU’s Harewood Appointed to NC Board of Science & Technology

Ken Harewood, director of the Julius L. Chambers Biomedical/Biotechnology Research Institute at North Carolina Central University, has been appointed by Governor Michael Easley to serve as a member of the North Carolina Board of Science and Technology (NCBST). The NCBST advises and makes recommendations to the Governor, the General Assembly, the Secretary of Commerce, and the Economic Development Board on the role of science and technology on the economic growth and development of North Carolina.
