Many believe that North Carolina Central University is the most promising university in the state of North Carolina; however I believe it is the most promising in the NATION. I envision a university with a diverse population; cultivating continued scientific breakthroughs and research, political activism, international arts exposure, and a dedication to “truth and service”.

As students at NCCU it is our duty to take responsibility for our campus and hold those affiliated accountable. This year, your Student Government is ready to create change. We can not do it alone and so we are asking every student on this campus to become INVOLVED. It is time that we breath life into the “sloping hills and verdant green.”

We will do our part by keeping you informed, bridging the gap between students and administration, providing a wonderful Homecoming experience, listening to all of your questions, comments, and concerns, and finally by setting action to our theme for the year: “One Voice…Students First!”
