The North Carolina Central University Alumni Association, Inc. offers several "National
Alumni Scholarships" to students at North Carolina Central University. The
scholarships vary in amount and may be renewable for up to four years. Recipients
of these awards are designated "National Alumni Scholars". Though the majority
of the National Alumni Scholarship awards made annually will be to incoming
freshman students, apllications are acceptable from any student regardless
of classification or academic interest. All alumni scholars are required to
carry a full class load. The deadline for receiving all application materials
is March 15th. Notices of initial awards will be made by April 15th of each
year.
Ride
with pride and image the University with an NCCU Collegiate Insignia License
Plate. The North Carolina Division of Motor Vehicles is now offering a vanity
license plate with NCCU's own logo and colors. The license plates will tell
everyone on the road not just where you are from but where your heart is! IT
IS A MUST FOR EVERY NCCU FRIEND AND FAMILY CAR. The cost of the license plate
is $25 per year in addition to your regular registration fee. Personalized
collegiate plates cost $45 in addition to the normal registration fee. $15
of every tag purchased is returned to the University to use for scholarships.
