Lady Eagle Bowling Wins CIAA East vs. West Round-Up 

     PETERSBURG, VA -- North Carolina Central University, the reigning women's bowling conference champions, captured 42 of a possible 48 points to finish in first place at the CIAA East vs. West Round-Up from Oct. 25-27 in Petersburg, Virginia. 
     The Lady Eagles completed the weekend with a 10-2 head-to-head record, splitting matches with Elizabeth City State and Shaw.
     During the final round of 12 Baker games (where team members rotate each frame), the Lady Eagles amassed 1,994 total pins, an average of 179.5 per game and 206 pins higher than the second-best total pin fall by Virginia State. 
     NeClea Coleman paced NCCU with a weekend average of 167, including a game-high of 212. LaKrystal Horne averaged 165 during the Round-Up with a high game of 191 for the Lady Eagles.
