     LOUISBURG, NC - North Carolina Central University placed second out of nine conference teams participating in the 2004 CIAA Western Division Golf Championship held at Bull Creek Country Club (Par 72, 6367-yard course) on March 6-7 in Louisburg, NC. 
     NCCU sophomore Steve Wright (Durham, NC) finished second in the individual standings with a two-day score of 153 (77/76).
     Fayetteville State University won the event with a 626 aggregate score (319/307), while the Eagles were the tournament's runners-up with a 656 (330/326).
