North Carolina Central University freshman Brian Demby has been selected as one of four student-athletes to receive a scholarship during the opening ceremony of the 19th National Minority College Golf Championship on May 5 at the PGA Historical Center in Port St. Lucie, Florida. [Full Story]

Brian Demby of NCCU captured low medalist honors with a CIAA-record score of 135 over the two-day event. Demby shot a four-under-par 67 on day 1, and then followed with a three-under-par 68 on day 2. NCCU's Pete Hayes repeated as CIAA Coach of the Year. [Full Story]
