NCCU'S DAVID YOUNG MAKING THE ROUNDS AROUND THE NBA
North Carolina Central University men's basketball guard David Young
has been making the rounds around the National Basketball Association (NBA)
after ending his collegiate eligibility with the Eagles.
Since earning 2004 All-CIAA honors as the
third-leading scorer in the conference with a 20.5 points per game scoring
average, Young has worked out for four NBA teams and has more trips to
come.
Young has already worked out for the Houston
Rockets (May 24), Washington Wizards (May 27), Los Angeles Lakers (May
28), and Seattle Supersonics (June 4). He is scheduled to visit the Detroit
Pistons on June 14, the San Antonio Spurs on June 15 and the Dallas Mavericks
on June 17.
