NCCU'S MOORE ON L.A. CLIPPERS SUMMER LEAGUE ROSTER
Former Eagle Scores Six Points Against Detroit Pistons
DURHAM, N.C. -- Former North Carolina Central University men's basketball
standout Jonathan Moore has earned a spot on the NBA's Los Angeles
Clippers summer league roster.
Moore, a 6-8 forward from Raleigh, NC, enjoyed his
best outing of the 2005 Reebok Vegas Summer League during a 73-69 loss
to the Detroit Pistons on Monday (July 11) with six points on 2-for-4 shooting
from the field and 2-for-3 shooting from the foul line, along with a rebound
in six minutes of play. He wears jersey number 10.
The Clippers return to action Wednesday (July
13) against the Sacramento Kings and Friday (July 15) versus the Denver
Nuggets. Both games are slated for broadcast on NBATV.
Moore amassed 845 points, 387 rebounds, 132
assists, 96 steals and 54 blocked shots in just two seasons at NCCU, after
transferring from East Carolina University.
