NCCU's FLOWERS NAMED STRENGTH & CONDITIONING ALL-AMERICA
DURHAM, NC -- North Carolina Central University junior running back Myron Flowers has been selected by the National Strength and Conditioning Association as a 1999 NSCA All-American Athlete.
"Myron possesses tremendous ability, knowledge and integrity," said T.J. Tipper, NCCU Strength and Conditioning Coordinator. "He is a team and position motivator, and weight room leader."
A 5-foot-9, 187-pound tailback on the Eagle football team, Flowers has recorded a bench of 345 pounds, squat of 555 pounds, vertical jump of 30 inches, and runs the 40-yard dash in 4.5 seconds.
This prestigious award program recognizes outstanding male and female athletes who have excelled in their strength training and conditioning.
The program is in its sixteenth year and is made

industry leader.
