WILDER, JONES LEAD NCCU TO SWEEP OF LADY VIKINGS

Jennifer Jones (P) and Taheisha Wilder (CF)     DURHAM, NC --  Two Louisburg, NC natives - freshman center fielder Taheisha Wilder and senior pitcher Jennifer Jones sparked North Carolina Central University to a doubleheader sweep (8-4, 10-7) of Elizabeth City State University at Campus Hills Park in Durham, NC.
     Out of the lead-off spot, Wilder finished the evening with four hits, five RBI and four runs scored, including a pair of home runs in game one. 
     Jones amassed six hits, scored three runs and drove in seven Lady Eagles, including six RBI in the night cap. She also struck out 14 Lady Vikings during two complete game victories, improving to 10-3 on the season.
     NCCU freshman first baseman Odessa Perry (Warrenton, NC) extended her hit streak to 14 games by going 3-for-7.
     ECSU was topped by freshman Angela Dean and sophomore Rachel White with four hits apiece.
     NCCU improves to 10-4 overall and 10-2 in the CIAA.
