YOUNG EAGLE RELAY SQUAD EARNS ALL-AMERICA HONORS

     North Carolina Central University placed fourth in the 4x400-meter relay at the 2004 NCAA Division II Outdoor Track & Field Championships at Hilmer Lodge Stadium on the campus of Mount San Antonio College in Walnut, California.
     The Eagle foursome of freshman Shareef Muhammad, freshman Dorian Turner, sophomore Austin Hogan and freshman Hakeem Mohammed finished with a time of 3:12.49 to claim All-America honors.
     "This is an impressive performance for three freshmen and a sophomore competing against a veteran field on a national stage," said NCCU head coach Michael Lawson.
