MARSHALL WINS
NATIONAL TITLE IN 100-METER DASH
(May 23, 1998) -- NCCU senior Elisha Marshall captured the elusive
national title in the women's 100-meter dash on Saturday (May 23) at the
1998 NCAA Division II Outdoor Track & Field Championships in Edwardsville,
Illinois.
Senior Elisha Marshall was named "Most
Outstanding Track Athlete" at the 1998 CIAA Outdoor Track &
Field Championships after running for two conference individual titles.

Senior Elisha Marshall placed second in the women's 55-meter
dash with a time of 6.95 at the 1998 NCAA Division II Indoor Track Championships
in Indianapolis, Indiana, to earn All-America Honors for the third consecutive
