Complete Results from UNC/NCCU May Madness Meet

NCCU's Smoots Wins 100 Meter Dash at "May Madness" Meet
     DURHAM, NC -- North Carolina Central University sophomore Jason Smoots won the men's 100-meter dash and three Eagle runners posted season-best times at the UNC/NCCU May Madness track & field meet in Durham, NC on Saturday.
     Smoots ran a 10.51 to edge Jordan Vaden of Livingstone (10.58) in the 100m dash, while placing second in the men's 200m dash with a season-best time of 21.07.
     Kennisha Moten recorded her best time of the season in the women's 400m dash with a 55.69, good enough for fourth place and a provisional qualifier for the NCAA Championships.
     Rosalyn Pollard also ran an individual-best time of the season with a 25.02 in the women's 200m dash, while Katerina Glosova ran her fastest outdoor time in the women's 800m run with a 2:14.14.
