North Carolina Central University senior Danielle Johnson-Webb has been selected to the 2005 Daktronics Division II Women's Volleyball All-Atlantic Region Second Team for the second consecutive year, as chosen by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA). [Full Story]

After winning the 2005 CIAA Women's Volleyball Championship, North Carolina Central University now prepares for the school's second-ever postseason appearance at the NCAA Division II Atlantic Region Championship on Nov. 17-19, hosted by Lock Haven University (Pennsylvania). [Full Story]

North Carolina Central University Head Volleyball Coach, Ingrid Wicker-McCree
and Head Cross Country Coach, Michael Lawson have been selected as CIAA

North Carolina Central University senior middle hitter Danielle Johnson-Webb and freshman setter Ashley Shade have claimed weekly volleyball honors from the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association Tuesday (Oct. 25). [Full Story]

North Carolina Central University senior outside hitter Brenda Brown amassed her 1,000th career kill during a 3-0 setback to Catawba College during the Lady Blue Hose Volleyball Tournament at Presbyterian College in Clinton, S.C. on Friday (Oct. 14). [Full Story]

North Carolina Central University defeated Saint Augustine's College 3-1 (30-25, 28-30, 30-23, 30-24) at McLendon-McDougald Gymnasium in Durham, NC to remain unbeaten in CIAA play, while handing the Lady Falcons their first conference loss of the season. [Full Story]

North Carolina Central University outside hitter Brenda Brown was named CIAA Player of the Week. Brown, a senior from Fayetteville, NC, recorded 63 kills and 49 digs in five matches from Sept 5 - Sept. 11. [Full Story]

Senior Middle Hitter Danielle Johnson-Webb's 1,000th kill highlighted a superb performance from the North Carolina Central University Lady Eagles, as they defeated the Johnson C. Smith University Lady Golden Bulls 3-0 (30-10,30-11, 30-15).[Full Story]

Three North Carolina Central University Lady Eagles, senior outside hitter Brenda Brown, senior middle hitter Danielle Johnson-Webb and senior setter Ariel Germain, were honored by the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association as members of its Preseason All-Conference Team, as selected by the CIAA Volleyball Coaches Association.  The defending champion Lady Eagles' three selections are the most of any school.
