MAKE IT FIVE TIMES FOR NCCU'S WILLIAMS ... 
CIAA ROOKIE OF THE WEEK

     For the fifth time in the past six weeks, North Carolina Central University freshman Porche' Williams has been voted as the CIAA Women's Volleyball Rookie of the Week, the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association announced Tuesday (Oct. 15).
     Williams, a 5-11 outside hitter from Long Beach, CA, received her fifth honor of the season after recording 60 kills, 23 digs and 11 service aces in five matches last week. Her best performance of the week came against Queens College on Oct. 12 when she tallied 16 kills, 7 digs and 4 service aces in the three-game match.
     Through 32 matches, Williams leads NCCU with 336 kills (3.23 kills per game) and 67 service aces, and is second on the team with 173 digs. 
     The Lady Eagles are currently 20-12 overall and 11-1 in CIAA play.
