LADY EAGLES UPSET #23 LADY GOLDEN BULLS OF JOHNSON C. SMITH

DURHAM, NC - North Carolina Central University sophomore forward Cassie King recorded her ninth double-double of the season as the Lady Eagles upset the No. 23 ranked Lady Golden Bulls of Johnson C. Smith University by a score of 63-49 on Tuesday afternoon inside McLendon-McDougald Gym in Durham, NC.
The win by the Lady Eagles (9-10, 5-3 CIAA) not only kept their five year home winning streak over the Lady Bulls intact for another season, but halted both JCSU's 13-game overall winning streak and their perfect eight game CIAA winning streak.

Johnson C. Smith (17-3, 8-1 CIAA) was led by Lauren Goss, who had 13 points and six rebounds.  Center Terri Edwards also had a good game with eight points and 12 rebounds for the Lady Bulls.
