WOMEN'S BASKETBALL

     INDIANAPOLIS -- North Carolina Central University will enter the 2007 NCAA Division II South Atlantic Region Women's Basketball Championship as the No. 2 seed and will play South Atlantic Conference champion Newberry College (24-6) on Friday, March 9, at the region's top-seed and host Clayton State University in Morrow, Ga., the NCAA announced Sunday night (March 4). 
     NCCU (25-5), making its fifth NCAA playoff appearance (1984, 2001, 2002, 2006, 2007), enters the regional playoffs as the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association tournament champions after defeating Elizabeth City State University, 89-72, on Saturday in Charlotte, N.C.

FROM THE NORTH

I-75: Take I-75 South to Exit #233 (15 miles south of downtown Atlanta) and turn left. Follow the green and white directional signs 1½ miles north on Georgia Highway 54 to Clayton State Boulevard and turn right.

I-85: Take I-85 South and merge onto I-75 on the northside of downtown Atlanta. Take I-75 South to Exit #233 (15 miles south of downtown Atlanta) and turn left. Follow the green and white directional signs 1½ miles north on Georgia Highway 54 to Clayton State Boulevard and turn right.

FROM THE SOUTH

I-75: Take I-75 North to Exit #233 and turn left. Follow the green and white directional signs 1½ miles north on Georgia Highway 54 to Clayton State Boulevard and turn right.

I-85: Take I-85 North to I-285 East. Get on I-75 South and take it to Exit #233 and turn left. Follow the green and white directional signs 1½ miles north on Georgia Highway 54 to Clayton State Boulevard and turn right.

FROM THE EAST

I-20: Take I-20 West to I-285 South and travel approx. 8 miles. Get on I-675 South and take it to Exit #5 and turn right (west). Follow the signs on Forest Parkway to North Lee Street and turn left. At the second light on North Lee Street, turn left to get on campus.

FROM THE WEST

1-20: Take I-20 East to I-285 South and travel approx. 15 miles. Get on I-75 South and take it to Exit #233 and turn left. Follow the green and white directional signs 1½ miles north on Georgia Highway 54 to Clayton State Boulevard and turn right.
