NCCU'S KING VOTED TO SOUTH ATLANTIC ALL-REGION TEAM
AIKEN, SC -- North Carolina Central University sophomore Cassie King
has been announced as a member of the 2004-05
Daktronics, Inc. Division
II Women's Basketball South Atlantic All-Region Team, as voted on by the
region's sports information directors.
King, a 6-0 forward from Wendell, NC, was
named to the All-Region Second Team after leading the region and ranking
fourth in NCAA Division II in scoring with an average of 22.9 points per

and now has 22 for her college career. King was selected All-CIAA and named
to the CIAA All-Tournament Team for the second year in a row.

this season, during an 84-79 overtime win over Bowie State in the quarterfinals
