CARY, NC -- North Carolina Central University's
men's team placed second at the 2003 CIAA Cross Country Championships at
the SAS Complex in Cary, NC, marking their best conference finish under
15-year head coach Michael Lawson.

(27:06.3), junior Wesley Yeldell ended in sixth (27:43.4), and sophomore

men's team finish in CIAA cross country history, Saint Augustine's edged
NCCU, 33-30, to repeat as team champions.
NCCU's women placed sixth in the team standings
with 131 points. Christina Harris topped the Lady Eagles with an
