NCCU MEN PLACE FIFTH AT REGIONAL CROSS COUNTRY CHAMPIONSHIP
Barber, Estevez Earn Individual All-Region Honors

     WINGATE, NC - The North Carolina Central University men's cross country team placed fifth at the 2004 NCAA Division II Southeast Regional Cross Country Championship in Wingate, NC.
     The Eagles were powered by an All-Region performance by sophomore Joseph Estevez, who finished the 10k course in 34 minutes, 13 seconds for 17th place.
     Lady Eagle freshman Yolanda Barber also claimed All-Region honors by placing 12th with a time of 23:51 on the 6k course. The NCCU women did not score as a team.
