Search is on for new chancellor Next June, or whenever a successor is found, N.C. Central University Chancellor Julius L. Chambers steps down. The search for a replacement has already began. According to George H. Walls, Jr., special assistant to the chancellor, the position has not yet been advertised.

Baker resigns from WNCU Donald Baker, General Station Manager of WNCU-FM, 90.7, has tendered his resignation, effective September 30. "I think I’ve taken the station to a stable point and now it’s time to focus on new challenges," said Baker.
