Congressman Price visits NCCU
To date $325,000 has been raised for the restoration which will take
an estimated $650,000-$750,000. Price toured the Shepard House with Chancellor
Chambers, Anthony Fairbanks, vice chancellor for development affairs, and
Phyllis Lotchin, chair of the Shepard House restoration committee.

Student life: survey of student attitudes
In the survey students report that they are having a "positive experience"
at NCCU, but the finding is complicated by a number of issues. Student
also report that they are having a difficult time balancing their jobs
and their studies. Future installments in the series will examine students
attitudes on racism, immigration, sex, relationships, media, religion and
the role of government.

Decayed houses remain hazards
Condemned buildings surrounding NCCU are not just an eyesore--they're
