Congressman Price visits NCCU
To date $325,000 has been raised for the restoration which will take an estimated $650,000-$750,000. Price toured the Shepard House with Chancellor Chambers, Anthony Fairbanks, vice chancellor for development affairs, and Phyllis Lotchin, chair of the Shepard House restoration committee.

Student life: survey of student attitudes 
In the survey students report that they are having a "positive experience" at NCCU, but the finding is complicated by a number of issues. Student also report that they are having a difficult time balancing their jobs and their studies.
