Study abroad program in Mexico begins

N.C. Central University Modern Foreign Languages Department will hold an informational meeting Nov. 8 in the 2nd floor conference room of the Farrison-Newton Communication Building. for students interested in a study abroad program in Cuernavaca, Mexico. The program will occur during the 2002 summer break.

The four-week, six-credit-hour program is designed to provide an opportunity for students to immerse themselves in Spanish. Students will live with a Mexican family and travel to other Mexican cities.

The cost for tuition, travel and room and board is under $2,000. Financial aid is available. Interested students must have four semesters of Spanish language with an overall 2.5 GPA.
