Cornelius and company bring home the soul
Performers at the 2002 Arts Extravaganza that celebrated Langston Hughes.

perform selections from the opera “Soul Gone Home” for the 2002 Arts
Extravaganza which celebrated Langston Hughes. The program, which was
held Feb. 26 in the Farrison-Newton Building’s University Theatre, also
included a reading of the Hughes’ poem “The Weary Blues” by Stephanie
Freeman.
