    On Feb. 18, Durham District Attorney Jim Hardin decided to drop second-degree murder charges against James Edward Hill Jr., 31, a N.C. Central University graduate student, who was charged with the Christmas Eve murder of Eric Hart. [Go to article]

    The new chancellor hopes to create a multicultural student population over the next decade. If Chancellor James Ammons meets his goal for 2008, North Carolina Central University will have nearly 8,000 total students enrolled.
