Chancellor Ammons
NCCU will host a week of festivities for Ammons.

N.C. Central University Chancellor James H. Ammons will be installed Saturday, April 6 at the McLendon-McDougald Gymnasium at 10 a.m. The official installation comes at the end of an entire week of events celebrating NCCU’s new chancellor.

Ammons, who served as Provost and Vice President of Academic Affairs at Florida A&M University, became NCCU’s chancellor on June 1, 2001. He has a master’s degree in public administration and a doctorate in government, both from Flordia State University.
