Being a student at NCCU is very special due to the requirement of service. What is NC-ACTS?
NC-ACTS is an AmeriCorps program that awards students who make a commitment of 300 hours of service in education, human needs/services, and volunteer recruitment/capacity building. Students who are selected for NC-ACTS and complete the program will receive a $1,000 Education Award that can be used to pay off approved student loans, to pay for college tuition, or to pay for graduate school.
