In the Spring of 2002, North Carolina Central became among the very first Universities (not merely the first HBCU) to stream their Commencement activities *live* via Web video.  We’ve done the same for each of our Fall and Spring Commencement activities, since then. Personally, I’m rather proud of us for that.  It was particularly memorable, when I was marching in the 2008 ceremony (having just completed my graduate studies, here), while simultaneously administering the web cast. Since our first forays, the program has come a long way in terms of quality, capacity and content.

We think you’ll enjoy it, as it presents a great opportunity for NCCU Web Services to take our video presentations like these to the next level. We look to ascend to the brave new world of HTML5, making this video (and hopefully, all that will follow) viewable on *all* video-enabled web devices.
