Evening Weekend Degree Program
Course Schedule: Spring 2008 Semester - Evening & Weekend
About Evening & Weekend Degree Program
The Evening & Weekend Degree Program (EWDP) is offered through NCCU's University College. EWDP is an educational alternative for adult learners who are unable to attend programs that are offered at the traditional time during the week. EWDP offers options to complete your Bachelor's degree whether you plan to begin a college education, complete an interrupted college education, change degree/professional plans, or transfer from another two or four-year institution.
Mission Statement
The mission of the Evening & Weekend Degree Program is to promote the mission of North Carolina Central University by providing an intellectual campus environment during the evening and weekends were working adults may pursue an undergraduate, graduate or professional degree, certification, or complete individual courses that will enhance their skills and knowledge as part of a lifelong learning process.
Admissions Requirements
EWDP does not admit students. You can be admitted only through the office of undergraduate admissions or the office of graduate studies.

Persons not seeking a degree but desiring to take a limited number of courses, and individuals who are unable to furnish a record of previous high school or college work may be admitted as unclassified students. Unclassified students will become eligible for classification as regular students when they meet the full entrance requirements. Unclassified undergraduate students may take no more than 12 semester hours of course work. At that point, they must apply for and be admitted to a degree program before they will be allowed to continue at NCCU. The academic rank of unclassified students and their progress toward their selected degrees will be determined when reclassification is made.
