Lois Deloatch, Vice Chancellor

Greetings from the Office of Institutional Advancement at NCCU,

On behalf of the students, faculty, and staff of North Carolina Central University, I extend to you a heartfelt welcome. It’s an honor to serve as the Vice Chancellor of Institutional Advancement (IA) during this time of growth and revitalization. We are concluding a remarkable centennial year and embarking on an exciting new chapter in the life of the University.

IA includes three key areas: fundraising, alumni relations, and the NCCU Foundation. We are charged with and committed to building strong relationships and partnerships as well as securing and managing funds that enable us to provide scholarships, fellowships, facilities, and programs. Particularly in these challenging economic times, NCCU relies on contributions from alumni and friends to help ensure that deserving students receive the funding, resources, and services they need to succeed, now and in the future.

I have cherished my close ties with NCCU for many years, and I’m pleased to have this opportunity to assist the University in sustaining and expanding its academic excellence and preserving its rich legacy of Truth and Service, now and for generations to come. I invite you to engage, (re)connect, give, and visit often! Your gifts and involvement make a difference.

Please feel free to contact me or any member of the IA staff, if you have questions or suggestions.

Best regards,
Lois Deloatch
Vice Chancellor for Institutional Advancement
