Alumni organizations are based on their involvement in or allegiance to a particular group, experience, or common connection (sororities, fraternities, band, club, department or major, etc.). Affinity groups may meet on an ongoing basis or may choose to host activities during Homecoming or throughout the year.

Alumni Connections Event
NCCU students travel around the country attending conferences, participating in experiential learning opportunities, service projects and performances. When schedules permit, alumni are invited to join students for dinner and conversation. The informal atmosphere provides an opportunity for students to network with alumni as they share their love for NCCU, expertise and wisdom. Events are hosted by the Alfonso Elder Student Union and Office of Student Leadership, Training and Development in collaboration with the Office of Alumni Relations. Email firstname.lastname@example.org for information on upcoming events.
The Office of Alumni Affairs maintains a hospitality tent and provides information at every home football game and selected basketball games. Stop by to meet the staff and learn more about alumni activities. Visit here for the latest information on Athletics.
Homecoming is second only to spring Commencement as our most celebrated annual event. Held around Founder’s Day, Homecoming is a gathering that includes a variety of university-sponsored activities, induction of the “Golden Eagles,” class celebrations and programs for alumni of all ages.
