Admissions

University Open House is held twice a year. Alumni are needed throughout the day to assist with student registration, customer service and information stations, and to serve as greeters. Alumni Volunteers

The Office of Alumni Relations appreciates the support and assistance provided by alumni volunteers. Volunteers are vital to the success of alumni programming. Opportunities to serve include support, assistance, planning and hosting events as well as assistance with programming for current and prospective students, athletics events, legislative advocacy and more. Motivational Task Force

Let’s give back! Let’s reach one! Teach one! Developed in 1973 under the direction of Lindsey A. Merritt, director of career services, the Motivational Task Force invites consultants to return to NCCU to strengthen student understanding of career opportunities and the work force through direct contact with experienced professionals from a variety of disciplines. Pre-Alumni Club

Membership in the NCCU Pre-Alumni Club is available to all current NCCU students to promote and enhance university pride and build a culture of student philanthropy to advance North Carolina Central University. Members engage in activities that promote unity among students and alumni, support fundraising activities and initiatives, develop opportunities to network with alumni, assist in the cultivation and support of donors, celebrate the preservation of cherished traditions and foster lifelong relationships with the university.

NCCU Bookstore

License Plate

Ride with Eagle Pride! Purchase an NCCU Collegiate Insignia License Plate. The North Carolina Division of Motor Vehicles offers a vanity license plate with NCCU’s logo and colors. The license plate fees are $25 per year in addition to your annual registration fee. You can secure a personalized plate for $45 per year in addition to your annual registration fee. For every plate purchased, $15 is returned to the university’s scholarship fund. Order your NCCU Collegiate Plate today!

Parking Information

We want alumni and friends to visit campus often. Hourly parking is available in the Latham Parking Deck on Lawson Street. Be sure to review parking information prior to your visit. As our campus grows, parking is becoming more restricted. Plan ahead and park in the appropriate lots to prevent ticketing and towing.
