An offer of admission from the Law School to a foreign-born applicant is conditioned upon verification that, as an incoming foreign-born student, you are eligible to enroll school. Foreign-born applicants, upon receipt of an offer of admission letter and making the decision to accept the offer, must return to the Office of Admission at the Law School no later than three (3) months prior to the first day of orientation, the following:
IF YOU ARE A U.S. CITIZEN OR LAWFUL PERMANENT RESIDENT, please send a copy of your Birth Certificate (if citizen), Certificate of Naturalization OR current Resident Alien Card. After the Office of Admissions at the Law School has received the appropriate documentation, it is forwarded to the University's Office of International Affairs.
(All materials for enrollment must be submitted to the Office of Admissions at the Law School no later than (3) months prior to the first day if orientation.)
For more information regarding Permanent Resident status, please contact the University's Office Affairs at (919) 530-7912
IF YOU ARE NOT A U.S. CITIZEN OR A LAWFUL PERMANENT RESIDENT, you must obtain an F-1 visa or to transfer an already-acquired F-1 visa to North Carolina Central University prior to enrollment. In addition to returning the above documents, you must provide the Office of Admission at the School of Law with a copy of your most recent bank statements, showing that you have the necessary funds to pay your tuition, required fees, and living expenses while enrolled in school.
