The Law School Admission Test (LSAT) is a standardized test required for admission to the School of Law. It provides a standard measure of acquired reading and verbal reasoning skills that the Admissions Committee uses as one of several factors in evaluating applicants' credentials. The Law School Admissions Council (LSAC) administers the test four times per year, typically in October, December, February and June.
The School of Law will accept test scores through the February test administration date for admission the following fall. To be considered for admission, the most recent LSAT score must be no more than five years old at the time the admissions cycle begins on October 1st of each year. The Law School uses the highest LSAT score among multilple test takers. There is no minimum LSAT score required for admission.
Preparing for the LSAT
The School of Law does not offer preparatory courses for the LSAT. For more information about the LSAT, for sample LSAT tests or to register for the LSAT, go to LSAC's website at www.lsac.org.
