The School of Law begins accepting on-line applications on October 1st.
Application materials submitted prior to October 1st will be returned
to the sender. The application deadline for submitting all application
materials is March 31st. Click here for more information about the application deadline.
A social security number
is not required, but is required if you intend on applying for
financial assistance. If you do not submit a social security number, we
will use your LSAC account number as your identifier. Therefore, please
include it on your application for Admission in the space provided. All applicants must apply using the on-line Application for Admission. If ANY required questions are omitted, it will be denied as incomplete.
After initial submission
of the Application for Admission, applicants have a continuing
obligation to submit updated application information or other
supplemental information that may have bearing on the admission
decision, the accuracy of the application file, the ability to continue
law school studies, or on the applicant's eligibility to take the bar
examination upon graduation. All materials submitted with the Application for Admission become property of the School of Law and cannot be returned.
An applicant to the School of Law may choose to apply to only the Day Program or the Evening Program or for consideration for admission to both the Day and Evening Programs on the same Application for Admission and one $40.00 non-refundable, non-waivable application fee. Applicants are encouraged to read the admissions information for each program and to select the program that best meets their objectives. An applicant who applies to a single program may not apply for admission to any other program after submission of the initial application. Applicants who submit their Applications for Admission without indicating the program for which they intend to apply will automatically be considered for the Day Program only.
Please note that applicants are only allowed to apply once every admission cycle.
Re-Admitted students who
have previously attended NCCU School of Law and have not received their
degree should follow the re-admission procedure outlined in the law
school's Student Handbook .
Applicants
must satisfy the application requirements for each type of
applicant. Applicants may apply to the School of Law as a First Time Applicant , Re-Applicant , Transfer Student, Visiting Student or a Re-Admitted Student .
