In addition to satisfying the general admissions requirements for NCCU School of Law applicants, foreign-born applicants must present evidence of their ability to speak, read and write the English language and of their ability to satisfy their financial obligations associated with attending school. Results of the TOEFL examination (Test of English as a Foreign Language), if English is not the applicant's first language, must be submitted with the Application for Admission.

Foreign-Born Applicants

An offer of admission from the Law School to a foreign-born applicant is conditioned upon verification that, as an incoming foreign-born student, you are eligible to enroll in school.

Foreign-Educated Applicants

Applicants who attended foreign institutions must have their academic credentials evaluated for baccalaureate equivalency and assessment of grade point average by the World Education Service, Inc. (WES).   Applicants who submit foreign transcripts must pay for the costs associated with having their foreign transcripts translated and/or evaluated. The results must be sent directly to the Law School by the World Education Service, Inc. (WES).

Applicants with foreign academic credentials should check the LSAT/LSDAS Registration and Information Book or LSAC's website, www.lsac.org, to ascertain whether attendance at their undergraduate school requires them to register for the LSDAS.

All materials must be submitted no later than March 31st.
