Reserve Material: Materials placed on reserve by faculty, student tutors or student organizations can be found at the circulation desk. Reserve materials are available for use within the Library for periods of three hours. Some reserve materials may be checked out overnight. These materials may be checked out one hour before closing and must be returned within one hour of the Library's opening the next day. When borrowing materials, a valid student identification card must be presented.  Exception: NC. Bar Exams and the last copy of a permanent reserve title do not circulate overnight.

Extended Hours: Library hours are routinely extended during the semester and N.C. Bar exam periods. Requests for additional Library hour extensions should be made to Ms. Cynthia Ruffin, Assistant Law Librarian for Public Services.

Photocopying: Students have access to two copiers. Copies are 10 cents each. Each copier will accept nickels, dimes, or quarters and one and five dollar bills.

Faxing Services: Students may send a fax from room 230 in the Library.

Services for Students With Disabilities: Students who need assistance in retrieving or copying materials, or other services should ask for assistance at the circulation desk.

Interlibrary Loan (ILL): Students and faculty may borrow resources not available at NCCU through Interlibrary Loan. This service allows for the borrowing of circulating sources from other libraries throughout the nation via OCLC. Interlibrary loan requests may be submitted at the circulation desk, by phone (919) 530-5188 or e-mail (ILLrequest@nccu.edu). Requestors will be notified by phone, e-mail or mail when the item(s) is/are available. Please allow 24 to 48 hours to retrieve materials from neighboring Universities and as much as one week to receive an interlibrary loan requested from other schools.

UNC-COOP (University of North Carolina Cooperative Library Lending Program):
This program allows NCCU law students and faculty to borrow materials directly from all academic libraries in the UNC system with a valid NCCU identification card.

TRLN (Triangle Research Libraries Network): NCCU participates in a triangle wide consortium which includes the University of North Carolina (UNC), North Carolina State University (NCSU), and Duke University. Membership in this consortium gives NCCU students and faculty borrowing privileges at all TRLN Libraries. Go to www.trln.org for directions to these libraries, hours of operation and circulation policies
