The Curriculum Materials Center (CMC) is the library for students
and faculty involved in the
teacher education program. The resources selected for the
Center are mainly items which would complement and foster the
objectives of teacher education.
Some types of materials that can be found in the CMC :
- State adopted textbooks for grades K-12
- Curriculum handbooks and guides for grades K-12
- Computer software for grades K-12
- Sample lesson plans
- Kits/Games
- Diagnostic tests
- Activity books and magazines for classroom teachers
Audiovisual materials and equipment can also be found in the
Curriculum Materials Center. Equipment available for use include:
two Power Macintosh computers, TV/VCR combination, CD/Tape cassette
recorder/players, Laser Video Disc player and other audiovisual
equipment most likely to be found in a classroom today.
Although the CMC collection is primarily for the students and
faculty in the teacher education program, all students and faculty
of the university are encouraged to use the collection.
The CMC's resources are listed in the online public catalog. Currently, the CMC hours of operations are:
Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
