Located on the first floor, the Reserve Collection consists of volumes selected from the general book collection by faculty members for limited loans. These books, which are in heavy demand, are required readings. A large collection of personal copies and articles are added to the reserve shelves by faculty members to ensure sufficient reading materials for students.

Some of the other materials that can be found in the Reserve Section are: UNC administrative manuals and handbooks, NCCU Residence Policy Manual, UNC Affirmative Action Plan, and current popular magazines.

Users with ID may borrow reserve materials for a maximum of four hours. Other types of loans are available depending upon the demand for the material. Charges for overdue books are 25 cents per hour for the first four hours and ten cents each additional hour.

The Reserves Section is located on the first floor of the library and is open during all library hours. C
