This guide lists basic English language reference sources for
American History both in print and electronic formats available
in North Carolina Central University libraries.
Contain newspaper clippings, programs, newsletters
and other ephemera produced at or about NCCU or NCCU faculty.

Contains books and other materials relating
to blacks in Africa, Latin America, and America. The majority
of items were published between the 1700's to the 1940's. Also
contains items relating to NCCU history, including college yearbooks
and catalogs. Located on the first floor of the library. All items
are in the online catalog and have "Treasure Room" as their location
listing. Ask at the Reference desk for assistance. Items are non-circulating.

Paper index by year of all articles published in the
New York Times. Coverage: 1900 to the present Located in the Serials
Department.

Coverage: Full text searchable database of many
subjects including the sciences, medicine, business and economics,
government, international studies, African American studies. 1989
- present.
