Kebreeya Lewis Encourages Students to BOOM

With a new school year comes a new opportunity to practice healthy habits. One student advocating a healthy community is NCCU sophomore Kebreeya Lewis, a criminal justice major.

She was featured in an HBO documentary, “The Weight of the Nation for Kids: Kebreeya’s Salad Days.” She has also organized an NCCU organization, BOOM — Building Our Own Movement — to provide healthy insight for students and surrounding communities...

University Honors Program and the Class of 2017

The Class of 2017 has just arrived at NCCU and is one of the brightest classes to enter our great institution.

The class has an average high school GPA of 3.1 and is setting the bar high. One way for freshmen to maintain “Eagle Excellence” during college is through the University Honors Program.
