 RefWorks

   Introducing RefWorks & Online Help

RefWorks is a web-based bibliography and database manager that allows you to create your own

personal database by importing references from text files or online databases and other various

sources. You can use these references in writing papers and automatically format the paper and the

     bibliography in seconds.

Refworks is available to all current NCCU students, faculty, and staff.

To get started using RefWorks, there are a few things you'll want to focus on first:

    Accessing RefWorks

If you are a new patron to NCCU RefWorks, please Sign up for an Individual Account. When

creating your Login Name, please do not use the following characters:

                     * Asterisk

                     < >[ ] Brackets

                      = Equal sign

                     + Plus sign

                      " Quotes

                      \ / Slashes

                      , . : ; Comma, Period, Colon, Semicolon

NCCU students, faculty, and staff may log into RefWorks from any campus location. For remote

(off-campus) access, you need to either via Web VPN or Enter Your Group Code to access NCCU's

     subscription and your personal database.
