There are two types of computers available for students to use in the library -- those for searching databases, and those on which  to do word processing and other programs. 

Eleven Dell computers are located on the second floor in the Reference Department.  They are for searching library databases, reading electronic journals, and conducting web searches.  Microsoft Office Word 2007 and EndNote x2 have been installed on these PCs. Patrons can Insert citations into word processing documents and format bibliographies in a variety of styles. The Reference Department is responsible for these computers.  Please ask for assistance from the reference staff on duty at the desk.

Information Technology Department supported Mega Computer Lab is located on the first floor. These computers can be used to check email, type papers, create spreadsheets, or complete other class-related assignments.  These terminals are under the jurisdiction of the NCCU's IT Department.  For assistance in using them, please ask the computer monitor in the computer lab.
