Community Agency Counseling
Goal
The Community Agency Counseling Program prepares counselors to work with children and adults in a variety of settings. The University is located in Durham, NC, a fairly urban area located in central North Carolina (the "Triangle"). Nearby regions include rural areas, as well as the Research Triangle Park. Counselor-trainees are prepared to work in rural and urban settings. The primary focus of the program is to prepare professional counselors who can promote human growth and development in rural and urban settings.
