Students First
The Students’ First Committee is comprised of School of Education Faculty and Staff working to ensure that students receive the “best tools” to aid in their successful matriculation through the Teacher Education Program.
Mission
Candidate Knowledge, Skills, and Dispositions are supported through efforts by the Students’ First Committee via programming that provides necessary tools for successful matriculation through the Teacher Education Program.
Goals and Activities include:
- Provide developmental and informational updates to students in a timely manner
- Supply a series of special topic seminars for pre-service teachers
- Organize celebrations and receptions for School of Education Students
- Maintain the School of Education Student Lounge
- Evaluate students’ needs and make necessary improvements
